In "Step Brothers," John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell play two losers still living at home with their parents well into their thirties who are brought together by the marriage of one's mother and the other's father. They don't have jobs, they have bad table manners, they are immature, they're a little dense, and they have juvenile interests, so of course they travel by bicycle. We don't see that until towards the end of the movie, when they are returning from a failed job hunt to show their step/parents that they really are responsible after all. Prior to that, the bicycle makes an appearance as a weapon in a front-lawn brawl between the step brothers.
